Privacy policy

What we collect. Account details (name, email, phone, company), listing information you enter, buyer request answers, messages sent on the platform, signed documents with timestamp and IP address, and standard server logs.

How we use it. To run the marketplace: publish the public parts of listings, review requests, introduce approved Buyers to Sellers, send transactional email, and keep records of signed agreements. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers.

Who sees what. The public sees only the fields marked public on a listing. A Seller's confidential information is shown only to Buyers that BizUtah approves after a signed NDA, and to BizUtah staff. A Buyer's name, message, and request answers are shown to the Seller only after approval.

Email. We send account and transaction emails (confirmations, approvals, messages). We don't send marketing email without a separate opt-in.

Retention. Signed documents and message threads are kept as long as needed to evidence the agreement, typically at least four years. You can ask us to close your account at admin@bizutah.com; we'll remove listing content and personal details not needed for legal records.

Security. Passwords are hashed. Traffic is encrypted. Uploads are stored on our own server in Utah, not on third-party services.
